Who we are

We’re a premier wedding and corporate ceilidh band based in Sydney, delivering the highest standard of Scottish music available in Australia.

Led by Craig Irving, an award-winning Scottish traditional musician from the Highlands of Scotland, you’ll be booking a band with true professional pedigree. Craig is a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner, founding member of renowned Scottish traditional band Talisk, former guitarist with Mànran for four years, and current guitarist with folk band GLIN. He also runs one of Scotland’s busiest ceilidh bands, Foot Stompin’ Ceilidh Band. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a diploma in Scottish music, Craig brings over 15 years of experience both playing and calling ceilidhs (yes, he’ll lead all the dances!).

Craig is also one of Celtic traditional music’s most followed musicians on social media, with over 110,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram.

We specialise in lively ceilidh music, where we lead and call traditional Scottish dances, ensuring everyone can join in, but we also offer more than just the ceilidh experience. We can provide beautiful Celtic-inspired background music for key moments or quieter parts of your event and, if you’d like, we can mix in some well-known songs or contemporary tunes to keep the dance floor going beyond the traditional sets.
